Treatment fees
The following is a summary of fees for the various procedures offered by the Fetal Medicine Centre.
All profits from the centre are donated to the Fetal Medicine Foundation (Registered Charity 1037116) and donations are gratefully accepted.
Fetal viability scan
(at 6-10 weeks) £100
Nuchal scan and blood test
(at 11-13 weeks) £150
- with chorion villus sampling (CVS)
(at 11-15 weeks) £450
Fetal anomaly scan
(best performed at 20-24 weeks) £200
- with amniocentesis (from16 weeks onwards) £450
- with cervical assessment (at 20-24 weeks) £250
- with serum biochemistry (at 16-18 weeks) £250
Fetal cardiac scan
(at 13-24 weeks) £200
- with extensive consultation £400
Fetal wellbeing scan and Doppler
(at 24-42 weeks) £150
Fetal blood sampling
(after 20 weeks) £450
Pre-pregnancy counseling
£100
Prices for multiple pregnancies vary
Amniocentesis or CVS in twin pregnancies
£600
In cases of amniocentesis or CVS for special tests such as for thalassaemia, sickle cell disease or paternity, the laboratory cost will be added to the fee of £450.
